Included in the presentation was a discussion of the Sherrill s efforts to <br /> place additional electronic signage on the Lake to provide safety related messages to those on the <br /> water. Sherriff Stanek was in attendance and encouraged the Board to consider acting to support <br /> the effort with the LMCD member cities. <br /> In response to the request,the Board acted to adopt the following motion at its regular meeting: <br /> "For the LMCD to endorse the Sheriff's electronic sign project and to <br /> encourage the cities on the lake to support this important safety project." <br /> This letter is being sent in furtherance of the motion to encourage your city to support the <br /> Sheriff's efforts in this regard.
