Restoration Steps <br /> 1. Smooth out exposed soil with hand a rake. Cut and dispose of all loose <br /> root material. <br /> 2. Remove and treat all invasive weed species. ( buckthorn, thistle and <br /> mullin) <br /> 3. Stake in 3 rows of 6" diameter soil logs — one at the top, center and <br /> bottom of the hill slope (parallel to hill slope). Photo #4-6 <br /> 4. Blow in a 2" layer of soil compost material between the logs, covering all <br /> of the exposed soil areas. <br /> 5. Install a native woodland seed mix (Prairie Moon Seed Company) , 0.5 Ib <br /> blue grama, 0.5 Ib Canada rye, and 1.0 Ib winter wheat on top of soil <br /> compost. Lightly rake seed into soil. <br /> 6. Cover with North American Green SC-15013N. Install per manufacturers <br /> specifications. <br /> 7.
