It would be desirable to place a <br /> protective retaining wall around the tree rather than filling this area back <br /> in. <br /> We would recommend that the swale be constructed 3 inches lower and three feet <br /> wider than proposed. The possibility of this problem occurring again during <br /> our next large storm is high. <br /> We discussed the proposed work with the neighbors and they feel the entire <br /> bank should be removed.
