Lake Minnetonka Conservation District <br /> 900 East Wayzata Blvd. Suite 160 <br /> Wayzata, Minnesota 55391 No.4-95 <br /> DEICING LICENSE <br /> WHEREAS, Tyler Corbin has paid the sum of 125.00 DOLLARS to the Treasurer <br /> of the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District as required by the Ordinances of said District and <br /> has agreed to comply with all the requirements of applicable Ordinances necessary for obtaining <br /> this license; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, By order of the Board of Directors of said District,the applicant is hereby <br /> permitted and authorized to operate deicing equipment in agreement with the application on file <br /> with the District,subject to the following requirements: <br /> That, except as provided below,the entire area of open water or weakened ice is <br /> enclosed by a semi opaque fence which is at least four feet in height; <br /> That the entire fence,the area enclosed by the fence and the area deiced is lighted from <br /> one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise; <br /> That lights are to be directed so as to not affect adjoining dock use areas; <br /> That the entire fend area is marked by a minimum of six(6)refiectorized warning <br /> signs at least every 50 feet around the perimeter of the fence; <br /> That an easily identifiable and accessible on/off switch is located near the unit on the <br /> dock; <br /> That the installation is monitored on a daily basis; <br /> In no case may deicing extend or affect areas beyond the dock use area for which this <br /> permit is issued; <br /> During the periods prior to the generally accepted total Lake freeze-over in the fall and <br /> following the beginning of the final thaw in the spring,the shoreline along the area <br /> deiced is fence with a semi opaque fence which is at least four feet in height and <br /> marked by refiectorizing warning signs visible from 50 feet and installed every 50 feet <br /> along the shoreline. <br /> for the period of the 1995-96 season and ending April 20, 1996 subject to all the conditions and <br /> provisions of said Ordinances. <br /> Approved by the Executive Director of the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District this 6th day of <br /> October, 1995. //' & <br /> cutive Director <br />
