As <br /> you are aware your home is located in a Single Family Zone and <br /> renting out an apartment is not allowed. There is no recourse <br /> for you. Staff can not allow it to continue and City Council can <br /> not grant a variance. Therefore, you must cease this use <br /> immediately. Staff will be conducting inspections periodically <br /> to verify the apartment is not rented. Violation of thi�s code <br /> section is a misdemeanor and punishable by up to a $700.00 fine <br /> and/or 90 days in jail. <br /> If you have any questions please feel free to contact myself <br /> or Jeanne A.
