Record drawings of stormwater management facilities used to meet governmental requirements should
be submitted upon complete of project.
A Maintenance Agreement for stormwater management facilities used to meet governmental
requirements must be submitted. The agreement should define maintenance responsibilities following
completion of project and specify types of frequencies of inspection and maintenance activity. A report
should be submitted annually to the City and the MCWD briefly outlining inspections and maintenance
performed during the year.
Advisory Comments
Any changes to the exterior/landscaping improvements, i.e. patios, grading, sidewalks, retaining walls,
etc. not currently shown on the approved survey and landscaping plan will require a separate Zoning
Permit application to be submitted and approved prior to the work commencing.
Any retaining walls that are over 4-feet in height or tiered walls not separated by twice of the height of
the lower wall require engineered plans and a building permit to be submitted and approved prior to
construction.
Consideration should be given for earth overflows reinforced with Turf Reinforcement Mat in lieu of the
proposed 0.5"weirs for the rain garden outlets. The basins appear to be sized adequately to
accommodate a larger outlet and the earth overflows may appear more aesthetically pleasing than hard
infrastructure. In addition, the larger outlet would provide for less concentrated flow and thus less
potential for erosion.
w:\street files\mooney lake drive\1020\builder acknowledgement form 2017-01341.docx
