0 °4i4 <br /> = , - CITY of ORONO <br /> 0 G~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ` 10ESTIO* NO. 5 4 2 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-330 <br /> FILE NO. 05-3159 <br /> WHEREAS,Frederick A.Johnson, a single person,(hereinafter"the owner")is the <br /> owner of the property located at 4017 North Shore Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter the <br /> "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of Lot 4, lying westerly of a line running from a point on the northerly <br /> line of Lot 4, distant 30.5 feet westerly from the Northeast corner thereof to the <br /> Southwest corner of Lot 4, and all of Lots 5 and 6, Highwood Lake Minnetonka, <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota; also known as PINS No. 07-117-23 44 0005 <br /> (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Todd J. Knutson(hereinafter"the applicant") on behalf of the owner, <br /> has made application to the City of Orono for variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section <br /> 78-330 to allow construction of a new single family residence on a lot 0.63 acres in area where 1.0 <br /> acres in area is normally required, and 102'-111' in width where a lot width of 140' is normally <br /> required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #05-3159. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District, which requires minimum lot area of 1.0 acres and minimum lot width of <br /> 140'. The lot contains 0.63 acres in area, and is 102' feet in width at the shoreline <br /> and 111' in width at the 75' lakeshore setback line. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held <br /> on January 17, 2006 and recommended approval of the area and width variances <br /> based on the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
