Sec.13.04 RIGHTS OF SUBJECTS OF DATA ' <br /> Subd 1. T��pe of data. T6e rights of indlvidual on whom the data is stored or to be stored shall be as set torth ln this section. <br /> Subd.2. Information required to be given individuaL ?►n individual asked to supply private or rnnfidential data concerning hlmsel[shall be <br /> intormed o[: (a)the parpose and intended use of the requested data within the collecting state agency,political subdivision,or statewide system;(b) <br /> whether he ma�refuse or is legally required to supply the requested data;(c)sny knowo rnnsequence arlsiag from his supplying or refusing to supply <br /> private or confidential data;and(d)the identity of ot6er persons or entities authorized by state or tederal law to receive the data. Upon his further request,an individual who is the subject of <br /> stored private or pubGc data on indlviduals shall be shown t6e data without any charge to him and,if he desires,shall be Informed of t6e coutent and <br /> meaning of t6at data After an individual has been shown the private data and Informed of its meanieg,the data need not be disclosed to 6im for sia <br /> months thereafter uuless a dispute or action pursuant to t6is section is pending or additional data on t6e individual has been collected or crested. T6e <br /> responsible authorlty shall provide copies of the private or public data upon request by the individual subject of the data.
