Our current review is based on the following submittal items:
• Final Construction Plans, dated 5/15/2014
• Certificate of Survey prepared by Gronberg&Associates, Inc., dated 5/7/2014
We offer the following observations, comments, and recommendations for your consideration:
1. The proposed silt fence should be extended around the perimeter of the site. The silt fence should be
installed such that runoff from the site cannot directly enter the rain garden to the north.
2. The plans should provide more detail for the proposed rain gardens. Details should include, bottom
elevations, emergency overflow elevations, and proposed vegetation. Drainage calculations should
also be submitted to verify sizing of each basin.
3. Perimeter erosion control devices should be installed and inspected by the City prior to any land
disturbing activities.
4. Disturbed areas should be permanently stabilized within 7 days of completing construction.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
BOLTON& MENK, INC.

Brian D. Simmons, P.E.
Project Engineer
