We hated to bother you at home, but we were nervous
with surveyors walking around on our property.
The survey team said that the boyfriend of the daughter of the next-door neighbor was interested
in purchasing the Orono Fire Lane, west of our property line, and was ordering a survey with that
in mind.
Thank you Jay for telling us that the fire lane will remain the property of the City of Orono.
I know that when we purchased our home we came to the City of Orono to inquire about the
abandoned fire lane and learned that it would ALWAYS remain the property of The City of
Orono. That is what we want.
What we are asking is this: Can we have some written assurance that the Fire Lane will remain
the property of the City of Orono? Should it be available for sale, would we have an equal
chance to bid for it just as would the neighbor on the other side? Michael, is this assurance
something you could send to us?
We know you ar very busy. W'e liatc to buthtr yu witt► such a triviai item. But ;t was quite a
big thing to hear that information from the survey crew. We are right now quite worried.
Looking forward to a response and very grateful for your time.
c
Frank & Melissa Plachecki
3685 North Shore Drive
Orono, MN 55391
(952)-47]-2409
