The previous owner was notified, by the <br /> attached letter from City staff and during numerous subsequent conversations over a long <br /> period of time that the subject deck was constructed in violation of City Codes and <br /> without a building peiniit. <br /> This letter is your official notification that the deck remains in violation of City Codes. <br /> The City requires that the deck be removed ar a variance must be obtained in order bring <br /> the property into compliance. A variance application is enclosed and a meeting with City <br /> staff is required prior to submittal. Please remove the deck or complete the application <br /> and schedule a meeting with me prior to December 13, 2004 to avoid legal action by the <br /> City. <br /> Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.
