City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2747 <br />REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAY <br />FORFEIT LANDS FOR PUBLIC USE <br />BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a munic pay, corporation <br />organized and existing under the lams of the State of Minnesota; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, the City has <br />received from Hennepin County a list of lands within the City <br />which have become the property of the State of Minnesota for non- <br />payment of real estate taxes; and <br />AREAS, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners have <br />classified said lands as non -conservation land and have <br />authorized the sale of each such parcel of lana subject to review <br />and release by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for <br />compliance with local zoning ordinances, for the amount of <br />outstanding special assessments remaining unpaid to the City, <br />and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the <br />statutes, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 282.01, <br />Subdivision 1, hereby applies to the Hennepin County Board of <br />Commissioners and to the Commissioner of Revenue for conveyance <br />of the following tax forfeited land to the City for drainage and <br />conservation purposes. <br />PARCEL RETAINED FOR USE BY THE CITY <br />District P.I.D� <br />38 03-117-23 33 0001 <br />05-117-23 <br />-24 9105 <br />38 5-118 23. 41 0010 <br />11 11111h <br />Adopted by the City <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />Public Purpose Specials <br />Drainage & Conservation None <br />Drainage &�)nNone <br />Drainage & Conservati <br />Dra3.nag _ a <br />Council of the City of Orono, <br />held the 8th day of January, 1990, <br />
