Jim, <br />I want to thank you for taking the initiative in cleaning up and beautifying the corner of Old Reach Road <br />at Shore Hills. Hopefully the retaining wall will keep the mud from sliding onto the pavement and <br />prevent the unsightly debris from accumulating there each winter and spring. Also, an unexpected <br />benefit is your retaining wall has provided my kids a safe, visible and protected spot to sit while waiting <br />for the bus. <br />I'm sorry to hear you have encountered some permitting issues. I recognize there is a process in place <br />with the City, but I'm confident that after review, City officials will conclude the wall serves a needed <br />purpose, conforms to other rock/landscaping in the cul-de-sac area and has the support of the residents. <br />Thanks again. <br />Steph. <br />
