The approvals were renewed in 2011, 2012, and again in 2014 via Resolution 6463. <br />The original approvals involved a conditional use permit to rearrange the floodplain on the property and <br />variances for lot area and width; lakeshore setback; average lakeshore setback; floodplain setback; and 0-75' <br />hardcover. <br />The 2014 approvals were extended administratively in October 2015. The new owner purchased the property <br />in 2015 and is currently developing plans to build a new home. They are requesting the approvals be extended <br />per the terms of the prior approvals. <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />City Code Sections 78-129 and 78-918 provide for extension of variance and CUP approvals. Staff may <br />administratively approve a one-year extension from the original approval date; City Council approval is <br />required for additional one-year extensions. <br />There have been no substantive Code changes which affect this project since the original approvals. Staff <br />recommends approval of the owner's request for a one-year extension of the approvals granted via Resolution <br />No. 6463.
