Upon his furcher request,an individual who is the subjecc oF stored private or public dara on individuals shall be shown the dan wichout any char3e to tiun and;if he d�sires, shall be informed of the cancenc and meaning of chat dara. Aher an individu�l h�s been shown the privace data and informed of iu meaning, th�data need not be disclosed to him for six monchs thereaiur uniess a dispute or acaon pursuan�to this secaon is pending or addinonal dac3 on[he individual has been collected o�creaced. The responsib(e authoriry shall provide copies of the privace or public data upon cequest by the individual subjecc of the dan. Tne responsible authoriry may requir the requesdng person to pay the accual cos�s of m�king,cercifying,and compiling the copies. The responsible au[horiry shall comply immediately,if possible, wich any rzquest madz pursuant to[his subdivision,or wi�hin five days oF the date of the roquest,excluding Sa�urdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if immediate compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply wich the request wichin that time,he shall so_inform[he individual,and may have an addiaonal five days within which to comply wi[h the requesc,exctuding Sacurdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or camplete. An individual may contest the accumcy or completenes5 of public orprivate dan conceming himself. To exercise chis rieht,an individual shall nori"ry in wridng che responsible auchoriry d�scribing the nacure of the disagreement. The responsible authoriry shail within 30 days cicher: (a)correcc[he data found to be inaccurate or incomple�e and attempt to nodfy pasc recipieats of inaccurdte or incomplece data, including recipiencs named by che individual;or(b)noufy the individual thac he believes che daca to be coaect. Data in disputo shall be disclosed only if the individual's sc�temenc oE disagreement is included wi[h the disclosed dzc3.
