Jones, (hereinafter "the applicant") is owner of the <br /> property located at 3490 North Shore Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") and <br /> legally described as follo�vs: <br /> Lot 3, Block 3, Baldur Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br /> property"); and <br /> WHEREAS,the applicant revised the application and submitted a new plan on July <br /> 15,2002 requesting variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section <br /> 10.56, Subdivision 16 (L)2 to permit hardcover greater than 25%in the 75-250' lakeshore setback <br /> where 1,687 s.f. (2�%) is allowed, and variances to Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 (B) to permit <br /> redevelopment of the property less than the minimum lot size and lot width for the zoning district; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance w�ith <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on May 20, 2002 and was continued to June, 17, 2002 and July <br /> 1�, 2002, at which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the <br /> opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NO`V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1.
