Because your property is <br /> � zoned residential, storage of boats that are not licensed or registered to you or the property is <br /> considered a commercial use and is inconsistent with permitted uses within the LR-1 C zoning district. <br /> Also, slip rental violates City Code Section 78-665, which is considered a commercial use and only <br /> allowed in the B-2 District. <br /> This letter will serve as your notice that you must discontinue the commercial use of your <br /> residential property before Tuesday, July, 20, 2010. To bring your property into compliance, all <br /> boats must be licensed and registered to the property owner. Please be advised, if you fail to correct <br /> the violations this matter will be sent to the City Attorney for review and may result in criminal <br /> prosecution. I have attached the pertinent City Codes for your reference. <br /> We will monitor your property through the boating season to assure compliance.
