.�O,�. <br /> O � <br /> C ITY of ORONO <br /> � :-. � <br /> ti <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��`9k'EsT�IO�'�G N O. 5 9 7 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-370 <br /> FILE NO. 10-3485 <br /> WHEREAS, Tonka Lake Properties LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company <br /> (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the property located at 3268 North Shore Drive <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Attached as Exhibit A, (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-370 (B) to allow redevelopment on a lot <br /> 13,600 square feet in area where 21,780 square feet in area is normally required and 52' in width <br /> where 100' in width is normally required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission held <br /> a public hearing on September 20, 2010 at which times all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 10-3485. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1 C-1 One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 0.5 acre and a minimum lot width <br /> of 100'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> September 20, 2010 and recommended approval of variance based on the <br /> following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
