Upon his further request,aa individual who is the subjecc of stored private or public data on iadividuals shal(be s6own che dara�-i-�out aay c"narge to him and,-if he desires,shall be infocmed of the content and meaning of chac data. Aftar an indiiidual has been shown ehe pri��aa and in:ormed of its meaaing,the data need not be disclosed to him for six monchs thereaiter unless a dispuce or acdon pursuanc to�his secdoa is tending or addiaooal data on the individual has been collecttd or creaced. The responsibie auchoriry shali provide copies of the private or public��:on reques:by the individual subject of the da[a. The responsible authoriry may require rhe requesring person to pay the actua!costs of makin¢,ce^..;'ing,and compiling che copies. The responsible auchoriry shail comply immediactly,if poss�.:e,wich any rrquest made pursuant to this subdivision,or within five days of the datr,of[he requesc,ezcluding Samrdays,Sundays and legal holida}•s,u i�mediacr.compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply with the request wi[hin thac time,he shall so inform the individual,and may have an ad��-c�1 five days wichin which to compiy with the request,excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or eomplete_ :�n individuat may contest the accuracy or compleceness of public or private dare concerning himsetf. The�esponsible auchoriry shall within 30 days either: (a)correcc the da�icund m be inaccurate or incomptete and aaempt to nodfy past recipiencs of inaccurate or incomplete dara, inciuding recipients named by che indi�9�:I:or(b)codfy the individual thac he believes the dara W be correcc. Data in dispuc�shall be disclosed only if the individual's statemenc of disag.-��:nt is i^.c:nded with[he disclosed data.
