Before backfilling, install Foamular Insulation to the CMU <br /> foundation wall from top of footing upwards, as idicated on , <br /> drawings . Adhere insulation to clean surfaces with long <br /> edges horizontal, edges tightly abutted and vertical joints <br /> staggerd. Secure insulation with adhesive applied to back 1 <br /> of panels with 1/4" to 3/8" continuous beads spaced 16" <br /> o.c. Apply insulation to wall within 15 minutes after <br /> adhesive is applied. ' <br /> B. Place backfill carefully, to prevent damage to insulation. <br /> 3 . 03 INSTALLATION - EXTERIOR STUD WALLS - BOARD INSULATION ! <br /> A. Adhere a strip of polyethylene sheet over interior face of <br /> studs with beads adhesive. Tape seal joints . � <br /> Place strip of polyethylene sheet at perimeter of wall <br /> openings, into window and door frame. Tape seal in place <br /> to ensure continuity of vapor retarder. Install batt , <br /> insulation in stud walls as indicated below. <br /> B. Install Celotex Foil Faced Foam Sheathing boards on <br /> exterior face of studs, vertically. Install per � <br /> manufactures recommendation. <br /> C. Butt edges and ends tight to adjacent board and to , <br /> protrusions . ' <br /> D.
