I have reviewed the our street file and i find no evidence of an existing retaining wall.
Please have the property owner submit photos for our review.
Christine^'
From: Christine Mattson
Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2014 2:41 PM
To: 'Gustafson, Sven'
Cc: Melanie Curtis
Subject: 3048 North Shore Drive/ #2013-00738 As-Built Survey
H i Sve n,
An as-built survey for 3048 North Shore Drive was submitted. Our consulting engineer visited the site; please see his
comments below.
The retaining wall on the east side of the property does not meet setbacks and must be removed. Also there appears to
be changes in the hardcover, i.e. the flagstone walks which are not on the original, approved plan and do not appear to
be reflected in the hardcover calculations on the survey. Please have the surveyor prepare as-built hardcover
calculations using our hardcover calculation worksheet, copy attached, properly identifying all hardcover on-site.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Christine^'
From: Robert Bean [mailto:bobbe@bolton-menk.com]
Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2014 3:44 PM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: Andrew Mack; Melanie Curtis; David P. Martini; Brian Simmons
Subject: 2013-00738 - 3048 North Shore Drive
Christine,
I performed a site inspection regarding the Asbuilt Survey for 3048 North Shore Drive on 8/26/14. Following are my
comments for your consideration:
1. A retaining wall on the east side of the property was constructed within 5' of the property line. A variance/CUP
should have been acquired to construct this wall.
1
