' <br /> A 3-inch PVC drain line for the future reflection pool shall be installed as shown on the Contract <br /> Drawings. Minimiun cover shall be 2.5-fcet for this line. <br /> 43.3 Svrinkler Heads, Quick Coirolers, Valves, and Related Parts ' <br /> All sprinkler heads, quick couplers, valves, and fittings shall meet the manufacp�rer's <br /> specif'ications for the models specified and shall be installed according to manufactum,r's ' <br /> recommendations. Swing joints shall be�sed fa the S-610 sprinkler heads and quick couplers. <br /> Wiring splices shall be kept to an absolute minimum. Where major concentrations of splices are ' <br /> necessazy said splices shall be placed in a valve box with cover installed below grade. Splices <br /> at valve locations shall be noted on the"as-built" plan. ' <br /> 4.3.4 Drainaae Svstem <br /> A ximately four drains are to be installed at low points in the imgadon system. These drains , <br /> PPI'o <br /> will be locatefl in the field. The drains will consist of a 1-1/4-inch line from the irrigation system <br /> with a gace valve,valve boa and cover,sun�ounded by approaimately 1/L cubic yard of 1/4-inch ' <br /> to 3/4-inch rock far drainage. <br /> Connections for systcm bbw out will be installed where required. Quick couplers will be used. ' <br /> One blow out connecdon will be required at the wacer tower. <br /> 4.3.5 Controller , <br /> The controller will be located in the field by the Ovvner in the gene�al vicinity stated in the <br /> previous section. 'Ibe Cona�act�will be nesponsible fa providing the electrical connecd� to ' <br /> the power panel located in the garden shop/garage on site approxima�ely 300 feet away. The <br /> electrical work shall be in accardatxe with applicable codes. 'I'he controller st�all be properly <br /> surge protected. 'Il�e surge protecdon unit shall be connect�d to a 5/8-inch diameter by 9-foot ' <br /> long copper clad gromding electrode drive in the soil to its full depth. The ground wire between <br /> the surge protecta and ground rod shaU be�6 copper wire properly attached at each end. ' <br /> The controller shall be installed on the pedestal mount as specified in the previous secdon. The <br /> pedestai mount shall be bolted securely to a 4-foot square by 4-inch thick concrete slab.
