The <br /> grading plan is dated 2-12-10 and the landscape plan is dated 2-10-10. We have the following <br /> comments with regards to engineering matters: <br /> • Most of the garage and a portion of the driveway are being placed over an area with <br /> existing hard cover. This slight increase in hard cover will generate a negligible increase <br /> in stormwater runoff to the north. <br /> • The landscape plan and grading plan do not fully match each other. The landscaping <br /> plan shows paver patios, rock paths, and the removal of existing sidewalks. The final <br /> plans should match and appropriate items need to be included in hardcover calculations. <br /> • A required stormwater pond was never constructed with the 2006 or 2007 building <br /> addition and parking lot expansion project. The current plan shows a pond in the <br /> northwest corner of the property. Pre and post construction stormwater calculations <br /> should be submitted showing runoff rates not increasing for the 2, 10, and 100 year <br /> storm events. In this case, the pre-construction conditions should date to before the <br /> previous (2006-2007) building addition and parking lot improvements. The post <br /> construction conditions should be the currently proposed plan. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
