Anyway,this is the explanation email I sent to the property owner's son &attached is the property owner's response to us. We would like to resolve this issue. Boat storage is permitted on Residential property in conformance with City Code Section 78-1577(4). Allowed storage locations for a lakeshore lot are in a side yard and rear yard;trailerable boats may be stored on trailers in a driveway in a front yard or side street yard [Cite: 78-1577(4)(d)(1)]. The City's required yard definitions are listed within City Code Section 78-1: Lot line means the property line bounding a lot; except that where any portion of a lot extends into the public right-of-way or a proposed public right-of-way, the line of such public right-of-way shall be the lot line.
