Co . , MN <br /> This On-Site Sewage Treatment System is Designed for a Type l, four <br /> bedroom home Designed in accordance with the Minnesota Pol,lution <br /> Control Agency ^hapter 7080 and local ordinances . <br /> The soils or� this si�te are a clay loam. A seasonally saturated <br /> layer of soil was found at 20" to 26" , (mottled soil ) . Due to <br /> the seasonally saturated soil , a Pressurized Mound System will <br /> need to be installed to adequately treat septic effluent. <br /> This site has an existing non-conforming system due to not meeting <br /> the 3 ' seperation from the seasonally saturated soil . Tne �xisting <br /> tanks may be used upon approval by the local Inspector. The tanks <br /> must be water tight . If the tar�ks need to be replaced , recommend <br /> to relocate ther� apprax. 40 ' east of their present location. <br /> The soils at a depth of 12" have a percolation rate averaging <br /> 4 . 2 min/inch. <br /> A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent <br /> to the treatment area . <br /> The manifold and supply line pipe must have back drainage to the <br /> pumping chamber. The distribution pipes shall have their ends <br /> capped. Be sure the rock and sand fill material are clean. The <br /> sod layer below the entire mounded area must be turned over, just <br /> break up the sod, be sure not to over work. <br /> The power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole <br /> and pumping chamber in a weather proof enclosure. A warning device <br /> must be installed ��ith a light and sound device, this is in case of <br /> a pump failure. <br /> All neighboring wells are located greater t!�an 100 ' away from the <br /> proposed treatment area . <br /> CONT ' D <br />
