O�, <br /> � !� -�����-��-- - ' C ITY of ORONO <br /> �l �?��t�,�• ,� � i <br /> ,,�` ,.' �► <br /> �'' ,��;;�u��,�i� .n ti <br /> � ,� ,_,�,�,,,���i,��, G RESOIUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L <br /> , � NO. 2950 <br /> �k'ESeH�g'� <br /> A RESOLDTION GRANTING <br /> v�NCEs To <br /> MIIRICIPAL Z08ING CODB <br /> SSCTION 10.03, SIIBDIVISION 9 (C)3(a) <br /> AND S$CTION 10.03, SIIBDIVISION 9 (D) <br /> FILE #1625 <br /> WHEREAS, Donald Olson (hereinafter "the applicant") is the <br /> ' owner of the property located at 4590 North Arm Drive within the City <br /> of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> The South 854.50 feet of the West 280 feet of the Southeast <br /> quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 117N, <br /> Range 23W of the Sth principal meridian, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHSREAS, the applicant has applied to the City of Orono for <br /> variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 <br /> (C)3 (a) and to Subdivision 9 (D) that would allow the permanent <br /> connection of a canopy structure with an adjacent detached garage <br /> resulting in a total square footage of 1,293.9 s.f., such a structure <br /> is considered an oversized accessory structure requiring a 30' side <br /> setback. The intensified structure would be located 24' from the side <br /> lot line. The proposed structure would be completely enclosed as a <br /> single detached accessory structure to. serve as both garage and <br /> storage areas and would be located in front of the front line of the <br /> principal structure where such accessory structures are to be placed <br /> behind the front line of the principal structure within the side or <br /> rear yard. ' <br /> NOW, THERI3FORE, BE IT R$SOLV$D by the City Counci 1 of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FIFDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1625. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA zoning district <br /> requiring a minimum of 2 acres. The property consists of <br /> 5.49 acres. <br /> 3.
