On August <br /> 5, 1999, August 6, 1999 and�ugust 10, 1999, inspection were completed and corrections required. <br /> As of this date, one conection remains. The existing plumbing vent pipe had a roof jack with a <br /> collar that extended up approximately 8". Inside the collar, however, the pipe only extended a few <br /> inches through the roof. The new jack that was used is the gasket type that has a rubber collar <br /> around the pipe. The pipe is close to the edge of the roof where ice backup occurs and will probably <br /> affect the function of the plumbing vent. The easy fix is to put back the same type of roof jack that <br /> was originally there. Another option would be to e�end the pipe. Either way it is not a big job. <br /> Please make this correction before September 13, 1999. If this deadline is not met, the City may <br /> initiate legal action.
