Our permitting software <br /> was recently updated and we have discovered an apparent glitch in the permit card format. The standard informational <br /> disclaimer wording printed on each permit regarding Temporary Certificates of Occupancy (TCO) is cut off... I want to <br /> make sure you are aware of the TCO escrow requirement of $10,000. This is what was apparently cut off of the <br /> disclaimer. <br /> Please be aware, the informational disclaimer on the permit card should read: <br /> Separate Permits Required: Plumbing, Mechanical, Septic, Fireplace, Electrical (State) <br /> NOTE: Prior to the start of framing an As-Built Foundation Survey must be submitted and approved by city <br /> or a stop work order will be issued. Initial: <br /> NOTE: For any retaining walls 4 feet or higher or not meeting the required separation submittal of wall <br /> plans signed by a registered professional engineer will be required prior to the release of the escrow. <br /> (initials) <br /> NOTE: An approved As Built Survey is required prior to Certificate of Occupancy issuance. Initial: <br /> NOTE: Be aware, in the event weather or other conditions prevent the completion of an as-built survey at <br /> the time the Certificate of Occupancy is requested, a temporary Certificate of Occupancy may be issued <br /> upon receipt of a $10,000 escrow to ensure completion of the as-built survey and all site improvements. <br /> Initial: <br /> Please contact me if you have any questions on this matter.
