Our Wetland Protection <br /> Rule, Buffer Width (6f)states that"applied buffer width for new principal residential structures shall be limited to 25 <br /> percent of the distance between the existing structure at the point that is nearest to the wetland or 25 feet,whichever <br /> is greater..." In most cases new principal residential structures are 100 feet or less from the delineated wetland,which <br /> requires a 25 foot buffer. Per your email below I thought a <br /> 25' buffer was required. The blue line is labeled as wetland buffer, but it's more than 25' and not any consistent <br /> distance from the delineated wetland.
