I arrived and the front <br /> door that faced east was open. Officer Vargas and Officer White helped me search the house. The house was <br /> unoccupied. The house had no heat and the light was on in the bathroom upstairs. There was trash and <br /> belongings on the floor throughout the house. There was a large hole in the ceiling of the bedroom upstairs. <br /> There was rotten food in the refrigerator and freezer. It appears to be a foreclosure. I tallced to the next door <br /> neighbor and he said Orono Public Works was at the house on 03/19/2013. I secured the front door but with a <br /> strong push the door will open. This case will be forwarded to the city to assist with securing and or boarding <br /> up the abandoned house.
