Project Overview <br /> On August 23, 2010, Arrowhead Environmental Consulting (AEC) performed a wetland <br /> delineation for the property located at: <br /> 60 Myrtlewood Road, Orono, MN 55391. The legal description of the parcel is: A part of <br /> the SW % of Section 36, T118N, R23W, Hennepin County, Orono, Minnesota. The <br /> parcel is a total of 6.69 acres. <br /> • Two wetland basins were delineated within the parcel bounds <br /> • Wetland 1 is indicated on the NWI map as a PEMF/PUBF wetland, Wetland 2 is <br /> indicated on the NWI map as a PEMB wetland. AEC classified both wetlands as <br /> Shallow Marsh(Type 3, PEMF) wetland <br /> • Wetland 1 is indicated on the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Public <br /> Water Inventory Map (PWn as Wetland 831-W (Approximately 4.53 acres in <br /> size); Wetland 2 is not indicated on the PWI map <br /> � The Houghton soil series is mapped within the location of Wetlands 1 and 2 <br /> • Wetlands 1 and 2 are dominated by reed canary grass, cattail, orange jewelweed, <br /> hummock sedge, lake-bank sedge, with scattered willow shrubs and black ash <br /> • The boundaries for Wetlands 1 and 2 were placed along the vegetation transition <br /> zone and a mild topographic break <br /> Wetland ID Classification T e NWI PWI# <br /> Wetland 1 Shallow Marsh Type 3, PEMF/PUBF 831 W <br /> PEMF <br /> Wetland 2 Shallow Marsh Type 3, PEMB N/A <br /> PEMF <br />
