The plans are dated 8-14-10. We have the following comments with regards to <br /> engineering matters: <br /> • The grading plan and narrative provide sufficient information to evaluate the grading and <br /> the work appears acceptable from an engineering standpoint. However, due to the <br /> limited plan information a site review should be done by ciry stafF just prior to final <br /> restoration. <br /> • Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permits will likely be needed with this project. The <br /> site should be reviewed for wetlands by the MCWD prior to filling activities. Evidence <br /> that a watershed permit has been granted or is not needed should be submitted to the <br /> city. <br /> • Newly graded slopes must not exceed slopes of 3 feet horizontal to 1 foot vertical. <br /> • Grading work must not impede the flow of any offsite stormwater runoff through the <br /> property. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
