� �o�o <br /> CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � � <br /> �' G~ No. 6450 <br /> `�kESHO�� <br /> WHEREAS, the Owners of 1100 Millston and the Owner of 1700 Shoreline have <br /> collectively made application to the City for approval of a lot line rearrangement which would <br /> relocate the lot boundary line between the properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in acco�dance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing on the lot line rearrangement on September 15, <br /> 2014 at which time all persons desiring to be heard conceming this application were given the <br /> opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, for the sake of clarity, the properties after the completion of the lot <br /> line rearrangement shall hereinafter be referred to as "the revised Jacobs property" and "the <br /> revised Burwell property"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono City Council reviewed the proposed lot line <br /> rearrangement at a �egular meeting held on October 13, 2014 and makes the following findings <br /> with regards to the proposed lot line rearrangement: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#143676. <br /> 2. The Jacobs Property contains 33.57 acres in area, app�oximately 970 feet in width and <br /> currently contains a single family home and several accessory structures. <br /> 3. The Burvvel! Property contains 11.11 acres, and has approximately 400 feet in width. <br /> 4. The Jacobs Property and the Burwell Property are both served by private wells and <br /> private septic systems. <br /> 5. This application contemplates a lot line rearrangement to transfer a 2.52 acre portion of <br /> the Jacobs Properly to the Burwell Property. The 2.52 acre portion of property to be <br /> exchanged contains an existing caretaker house, greenhouse and a garage in addition <br /> to a septic system serving the caretaker house. <br /> 6. Following the lot line rearrangement the revised Jacobs Property will contain 31.05 acres <br /> in area and app�oximately 670 feet of width; and the revised Burwell Property will <br /> contain 13.63 acres in area and approximately 700 feet of width. <br /> 7. The lot line rearrangement will not result in the creation of a nonconformity. <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
