Had to start someplace and would welcome any suggestions. <br /> <br />The City Council took no formal action on this item. <br /> <br />*9. REVIEW OF SPECIAL PERMIT – LONG LAKE ROWING CREW <br /> <br />Levang moved, Cornick seconded, to direct Staff to send a letter to the Sheriff’s Water Patrol <br />approving issuance of the Special Event Permit for the Long Lake Rowing Crew for the 2015 <br />season subject to the following conditions: One, No organized practice on Sundays; and Two, Shall <br />not impede the use of the Summit Park beach facilities and access by the public. VOTE: Ayes 4, <br />Nays 0. <br /> <br />10. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS: CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR <br /> <br />McMillan stated Kevin Landgraver has indicated he may not be available to be a full-time chair. <br />Landgraver did say he would be willing to continue to serve as vice chair. <br /> <br />Printup asked if Denise Leskinen is interested in remaining chair. <br /> <br />McMillan stated to her understanding she is. <br /> <br />Printup moved, Levang seconded, to approve the re-appointment of Denise Leskinen, Jon <br />Schwingler, and Loren Schoenzeit for their final 3-year terms effective April 1, 2015. VOTE: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br /> <br />Levang asked if the Mayor was considering reappointing Leskinen and Landgraver for two years or one <br />year. <br /> <br />Printup stated not knowing if anybody else is interested, he is comfortable with the status quo for one <br />more year. <br /> <br />Levang stated she also is comfortable with one year. <br /> <br />Printup moved, Levang seconded, to appoint Denise Leskinen as Chair and Kevin Landgraver as <br />Vice Chair of the Planning Commission effective April 1, 2015, for a period of one year. VOTE: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0.
