REPORT ON 2016 AUDIT—Continued <br /> personal leave of absence of the finance director,the City requested the state auditor allow some <br /> additional time to complete the audit. Reeder stated that request has been approved and the City now has <br /> until the end of August to complete the audit. <br /> Walsh noted the City Council has to approve the Abdo, Eick& Meyers contract to complete the City's <br /> audit. <br /> Printup asked if the audit extension will have any adverse impacts on the City. <br /> Reeder stated it will not, given the circumstances. Staff is very confident that the budget and the audit <br /> will be completed in the coming months. <br /> Crosby moved,Printup seconded,to approve the agreement with Abdo,Eick& Meyers to complete <br /> the City's audit subject to review and comments by the City Attorney.
