The person <br /> complaining is not so much concerned about the burning itself, and as long as it is confined to a <br /> 3x3 fire pit a permit is not required, but the materials being burned. It is causing them to close <br /> their windows whenever you are burning. <br /> The City allows for only clean dry wood or untreated lumber to be burned. The burning of <br /> treated wood/lumber such as plywood, green treated and other products can produce dioxins <br /> and other unwanted by-products. I would ask that you please respect the rights of your <br /> neighbors to have their windows open when the weather is nice and to only burn clean wood <br /> and possibly relocate the fire pit if needed. <br /> I would also like to remind you that vehicles need to remain licensed and road worthy. If you <br /> have any questions concerning this matter, please feel free to call.
