��No CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> y�'�q �G� NO. v / � � <br /> KFS H olL <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION <br /> TO THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF <br /> GENERAL CONCEPT PLAN AND PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL <br /> ESTABLISHED PER RESOLUTION NO. 6655 <br /> - FILE NO. 16-3822 <br /> 32�5 <br /> WHEREAS, on July 25, 2016, the City Council of the City of Orono (the "City") <br /> adopted Resolution No. 6655 granting preliminary plat and general concept plan approval for <br /> subdivision of property located at 342�5 Wayzata Boulevard; and <br /> WHEREAS, City of Orono Municipal Code Section 82-117 establishes that <br /> preliminary plat approval is effective for one year from the date of such approval, and failure <br /> to file a complete final subdivision application within this time period shall be considered as <br /> formal withdrawal of the proposed subdivision; and <br /> WHEREAS, due to market conditions and other reasons, applicant Lakewest LLC <br /> is planning to temporarily delay development of the property but wishes to maintain the ability <br /> to proceed with the development at a future date in accordance with the prior approvals <br /> granted in Resolution No. 6655.; and <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewest LLC has requested a one-year extension of the effective <br /> period of preliminary plat and general concept plan approval, to July 25, 2018. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> 1. The effective period of preliminary plat approval is hereby extended to <br /> July 25, 2018; and <br /> 2.
