The first 100'will be backfilled with 3/4" to 2-1/2"
diameter roc{c writhin 12" of the surface and finish off the backfille wi#h loam soil. The
total lin.ft. of tile is 180'.
The soils at a depth of 12" have a percotation rate of 30.0 mpi.
A lift pump will be needed in the lower level to keep the tanks shallow 75' from the
wetland.
A pumping chamtr will need to be installed to tift the effluerrt to the treatment area.
The power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping
chamber in a weather prf enclosure. A waming device must be installed with a light
and sound device, this is in case of a pump failure.
1
