Minutes of the meeting of �ec.11,1961 were approved as read. <br /> On motion made by Scnmitt,seconded by �7ood,the i�unicipal Code <br /> � of Orono,as prepared by the Village Attorney,and as submitted <br /> in printed form to the Village Council,�vas adopted. The Village <br /> Clerk was instructed to publish a notice to that effect in the <br /> official newspapers of the Village,and to maintain at all times <br /> in the Village Hall a sufficient quantity of copies of Munici- <br /> pal Code of Orono for distribution to the public as requested. <br /> Niotion carried unanimously. <br /> P�Ioved by Turnham,seconded by Schmitt,that J.F.Kust plow desig- <br /> nated areas on Shadywood Point on an hourly basis after approv- <br /> al of each plowing by Forenan Stinson. I�otion carried. <br /> - The question of responsibility for upkeep and plowing of the <br /> old Henderson bridge road was discussed and tabled pending <br /> further information as to the status of said road. <br /> The problem of snow remaval in Navarre was discussed.The matter <br /> was held over to the next meeting,January 8,1962 . <br /> Don Hess ,Jr.was present requesting recommendations as to use <br /> of the Carl Holmgren property in the event Mr. �iess purchases <br /> it. The matter was referred to the Planning Commission. <br />� � Foreman Stinson reported on problems of snow plowing and re- <br /> -_:; moval and the breakdown of equipment. He was asked to report, <br />'' ' � at the next meeting of the Council,what new equipment is <br />� � needed and the estimated cost of same. <br /> Fire protection contracts with the i�Iound,Long Lake ,�ayzata and <br /> Maple Plain fire departments were examined.
