Even human foot traffic can cause ftost to penetrate the mound resulting in potential . <br /> freezing problems. <br /> Do inspect your mound system annually for winter kill, (reseed if necessary) animal damage, <br /> (burrowing)or signs of potential failure. <br /> Do not plant trees or shrubs on the mound system, smaller trees and shrubs may be planted at the <br /> edges.
