The following is the area proposed to be assessed: <br /> The South 1/2 Section 17, Township 1I7, Range 23 <br /> and the North 1/2 Section 20 , Township 117, Range <br /> 23 and in particular all property abutting County <br /> Road 15 (Shoreline Drive) beginning at the western <br /> border of Orono then easterly to a distance 320 <br /> feet east of County Road 15 (Shadywood Road) all <br /> property abutting County Road 19 (Shadywood Road) <br /> 563 feet north of County Road 15 (Shoreline Drive) <br /> and 622 feet south of County Road 15 (Shoreline <br /> Drive) . <br /> The amount to be specially assessed against your particular lot, <br /> piece , or parcel of land is $ 5180 . 00 You may at <br /> anytime prior to certification of the assessment to the county <br /> auditor, pay the entire assessment of such property with interest <br /> to the date of payment, to the City of Orono. No interest shall <br /> be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adoption of this assessment. You may at any time thereafter , <br /> pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment remaining <br /> unpaid, with interest accrued to December 3I of the year in which <br /> such payment is made. Such payment must be made before November <br /> 15 or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeeding year. If you decide not to prepay the assessment <br /> before the date given above the rate of interest that will apply <br /> is 8 percent per year.
