I have requested the City attorney to record resolution vacating the 20-foot alley.This was originally to be recorded with Hennepin County in 2000 (a second attempt was made by staff in 2002). Once the resolution is recorded it will finalize the vacation of the alley and combine the portions of the vacated alley with the properties at 1122 Loma Linda, 1140 Loma Linda, and 1160 Loma Linda as shown on the attached 2016 survey. The City will be recording the alley vacation as approved in Resolution 4582. A copy of the recorded resolution will be provided to you for your records once we receive confirmation from Hennepin County. As we discussed you may prepare and submit your building permit application for the property at 1122 Loma Linda in the meantime. Our building permit review process is currently taking about 5-6 weeks to complete. Please have your architect and surveyor work with me to assure that all requirements are met with your submittal to avoid unnecessary delays. I've attached some additional information (in the form of an email)that may be of interest to both your surveyor and architect. Please share this information with them. Please review and let me know if I should send you the originals for recording.
