The rights of individu8ls on whom the data is �, <br /> stored or to be stored shall be as set forth in this section. �- <br /> � <br /> --- Subd. 2. Informstion required to be given in�vidusL An.individuel asked to `. <br /> • ' supply private or confidentisl data concerning himsetf shall be informed of: (a) the <br /> purpose and intended use of the requested date within the collecting state agency, <br /> political subdivision, or statewide system; (b) whether he may refuse or is legally <br /> required to supply the requested ciate; (c) any known consequence arising from his <br /> supptying or refusing to supply private or confidentiel data; end (d) the identity of <br /> other persons or entities authorized by stete or federel law to receive the data. After an individval 1�Ss been <br /> shown the privete date snd informed of its meaning� the data need not be �sclosed to <br /> him for six months thereafter unless e dispute or action pursuant to this section is <br /> � � pending or additional date on the individuel hes been collected or created. The responsible authoritq may require the <br /> requesting person to pay the actuel costs of making, certifying, and comp�ing the <br /> copies. <br /> The responsible authority sha]1 comply immedietely, if possible, with any reQuest <br /> made pursuant to this subdivision, or within five days cf the date of the reqvest, <br /> excluding SaturdaSs, Sundays and legal holidays, if �immediate compliance is not <br /> possible. If he cannot comply with the reQuest within that time, he sheIl so inform the <br /> individuel, and may have an additionsl five days within which to comply with the <br /> request, excluding Saturdays, Sundays end Iegal holidsys.-- - <br /> Subd. 4. � Pmced�se when data is not acciu�ate or complete.
