The tree as completely hollow with only a narrow band <br /> vf solid tissue around most of the diameter of the trunk. ln addition it has an open split <br /> for a considerable distance up the trunk. This a]low:,moisture to enter with great <br /> potential for additional rotting. �'he tree ac present is a distinct hazard.
