Certificate of Survey. An updated survey and landscape plan were provided, however they still show metal edging retaining soil around mature trees within the lakeshore setback. Please provide additional details on the metal edging (material type, screening, height, etc.)The metal tree well edging will be constructed out of 5/8"thick corten metal that will be attached to 2" dia. square tube steel posts (buried below grade). We had to add the metal edge/tree well to prevent us from piling grades up on the root/base of the existing oak tree in lakeshore setback that we are trying to preserve (due to the requirement of us raising the lowest level floor to be 2' higher than the 100 year flood elevation for the lake).
