Please find <br /> below comments for the sewer and water extension plans. <br /> 1. Add valves to either side of the water connection into the exiting main. <br /> 2. Add Fire hydrant to new ware main in vicinity of the Northeast street corner. (Fire Code <br /> spacing issue) <br /> 3. Water main is called out as DIP CL 52 in the notes and C900 on the plans. If C900 is used it <br /> should be DR 18. <br /> 4. Sanitary sewer service pipe and wye should be SDR 26 not SCH 40. <br /> 5. It should be noted on the plans that the connection to the existing manhole should be core <br /> drilled and watertight. <br /> 6. Tracer wire should be used to ensure that the utilities can be located in the future. <br /> 7. Please spec DIP 52 for the hydrant leads. <br /> 8. Removal limits should be called out on the plans. <br /> 9. If removal limits extend into Dickey Lake Drive, more information is needed on the plan (traffic <br /> control,typical section, saw cut notes, etc.). <br /> 10. It appears that Willow Drive will be disturbed to connect to the existing utilities. Removal limits <br /> and restoration notes need to be shown on the plans. Depending on how much of Willow Drive <br /> is disturbed,open cut may still be an option. <br /> 11. Traffic control notes need to be provided for Willow Drive. <br /> 12.
