MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 5, 1984 PAGE 2 <br /> Councilmember Frahm stated that he wanted assurance <br /> that the Met Council will not tax the City or its <br /> citizens because they will not benefit or use the <br /> interceptor. Frahm stated that there would be no <br /> legal way for the City to keep anyone from hooking up to <br /> the pipe if the citizens are assessed for the <br /> construction of the interceptor. <br /> . Motion, Ayes ( 4 ) , Nays (0 ) . <br /> ' John Purdy of 1975 Fagerness Point Road stated that a <br /> number of citizens support the City' s resolution and <br /> will support the Council' s fear of development in that <br /> area of Orono. <br /> John Eller stated that he would help support the City' s <br /> concerns for development in that area. <br /> ADJOURNMENT 7 :45 P.M.
