Van Nest stated that. he would like <br /> direction from the City Council on what to report <br /> back to the Task Force . <br /> MOLLY'S CORNER <br /> Mayor Butler informed the City Council and the <br /> audience present that the Molly' s Corner matter <br /> would now be discussed . Mayor Butler stated <br /> that this item has had two public hearings before <br /> the Pl�nni_ng Commission and had been be�ore the <br /> City Council at their la,st regular meeting . <br /> Mayor Butler stated that the City Council has tY�e <br /> verbatim transcript before them which includes <br /> everything that has been said concerning the <br /> Molly' s Corner matter . She stated that it was <br /> now time for the City Councilmembers to discuss <br /> this item amongst themselves but if any person in <br /> the �udience has anything new to add , the City <br /> Council will hear them . <br /> Mr . Peter Watson , 1925 Fox Street , st�ted that he <br /> was not present at the last meeting but wished to <br /> state that he is opposed to the parkinq at that <br /> location due to the unsanitary conditions with <br /> garbage scattered all o��er plus the trespassing <br /> on private property by persons using the present <br /> parkinq lot . <br /> Mr . �nleed , 13�i5 Orono Lane , stated that he <br /> disagreed with Czty Planner Olson ' s memo dated <br /> Apri _l ?_?., 1983 statinq that it was too emotional <br /> thathe would prefervacating BrackettAvenue but <br /> to �llow limited parking and fishing at that <br /> area . <br /> Mayor Butler stated that it was now time for the <br /> Councilmembers to discuss this matter between <br /> themselves . She stated that the City Council <br /> wasremissin notconsidering the recommendation <br /> by the Planning Commission �t their me�ting of <br /> March 21 , 1983 . <br /> M�yor Butler moved , for the purposes of <br /> discussion , that the Planning Commission <br /> recommencl��tions of March 21 , 79�33 be adopted . <br /> Is there a secon�? <br /> Councilmember Frahm seconded . <br />
