Mayor Butler requested <br /> that Mabusth present plat maps showing the <br /> locations of these lakeshore lots and <br /> surrounding neighborhoods at afuture meeting so <br /> that the City Council will have a better <br /> understanding of the extent of these properties. <br /> SEWER ADVISORY BOARD <br /> GROUP C <br /> Mayor Butler presented to the City Council the <br /> Minutes of the Sewer Service Advisory Board for <br /> Group C held on December 14 , 1982. <br /> MOLLY'S CORNER <br /> The City Council and Planning Commission Member <br /> Sime reviewed the memo prepared by Mayor Butler <br /> concerning the Molly' s Corner matter dated <br /> February s3, 1983 . <br /> Discussion included the railroad right of way; <br /> the status of Bracketts Avenue; ingress/egress <br /> safety factors; public vs. private ownership of <br /> the parking area; cleanup and policing the <br /> area; the charging of fees for citizens using the <br /> area vs. the City of Orono taxpayers assuming the <br /> costs of cleanup and upkeep; and the possibility <br /> of creating more problems by closing the area to <br /> the public because of no parking being available <br /> in that area for persons using the lake. <br /> Councilmember Grabek moved , Mayor Butler <br /> seconded , to directstaff to contactthe railroad <br /> as to their future plans for the railroad and to <br /> also find out the feelings of private property <br /> owners as to the vacation of that property, and to <br /> notify other property owners within 500' of the <br /> area .Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Frahm <br /> seconded , to approve City Administrator <br /> Benson' s letters to Bruce Malkerson, Commis- <br /> sioner Robb, and Dave Swenson, Hennepin County <br /> Highway Department , dated February 9, 1983, <br /> concerning the Molly' s Corner matter . Motion, <br /> Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> VACATION TIME <br /> Mayor Butler stated that she would be on vacation <br /> from February 17 through March 3 , 1983 . <br />
