Thefollowing Councilmembers <br /> were present : Mayor Butler , Adams , Frahm, Hammerel <br /> and Grabek. The following Planning Commission <br /> members were present : Chairman Rovegno , Goetten , <br /> Callahan and Kelley. Planning Commission members <br /> McDonald , Sime and Adams were absent . Zoning <br /> Administrator Mabusth , Assistant Zoning Adminis- <br /> trator Gaffron , Building OfficialJacobsand Recorder <br /> Sutton represented the City Staff . City Attorney <br /> Malkerson and City Administrator Benson were not <br /> present . <br /> CONSENT AGENDA* Mayor Butler moved , Councilmember Frahm seconded , to <br /> approve the Consent Agenda* , with all staff reports <br /> concerning items reviewed at this meeting to be <br /> attached to the original copy of these minutes on file <br /> in the City Clerk ' s office . Motion, Ayes (5) , Nays <br /> (�) • <br /> CONFIRMATION INSURANCE <br /> BID AWARD* Mayor Butler moved , Councilmember Frahm seconded , to <br /> approve the bid award to Krum & Forster . Motion, Ayes <br /> (5) , Nays (0) . <br /> �$00 THOMAS BURNEVIR <br /> 353H NORTHERN AVENUE <br /> VARIANCE <br /> RESOLUTION �1595* Mayor Butler moved , Councilmember Frahm seconded , to <br /> approve Resolution #1595, A Resolution Granting A <br /> Variance To Municipal Zoning Code 34 . 552 to permit <br /> construction of a new residence. Motion, Ayes ( 5) , <br /> Nays (p�) . <br /> COMMON OWNERSHIP Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron gave an <br /> overview of the City and all the lots that are held in <br /> common ownership. Gaffron noted that the majority of <br /> the lots in certain zoning districts don ' t meet the <br /> current zoning standards for that area . <br /> Mayor Butler stated that they should consider rezoning <br /> in light of this new information that many lots don' t <br /> meet the current zoning . <br /> Councilmember Frahm stated that rezoning would open <br /> the City up to all different kinds of development and <br /> that the current sewer systems could not handle the <br /> rezoning . Frahm also noted that it would not be fair <br /> to rezone for those lots that do meet the current <br /> zoning requirements. Frahm stated that they should <br /> just eliminate the common ownership. <br />
